On Friday, the Run 4 Patryk team will begin their epic endurance challenge.
They are pushing themselves to run four miles every four hours for 48 hours, from Friday 12th June to Sunday 14th June. They aim to raise an incredible £25,000 and, at the time of writing, they are 94% there. All money raised will support the Patryk Milner Memorial Fund, which was set up in memory of 7-year-old Patryk Milner, who tragically passed away on 2nd October 2020.

Five years ago, the team raised an astonishing £42,000 when they ran 4km every four hours for 48 hours. The money helped to build a running path, named after Patryk, around Sandbach Rugby Club, as well as providing 640 free sports holiday camp places for children in the community.

On Saturday, from 10.00am, you can join the Run 4 Patryk Fun Run, where you can run a carefully planned one-mile route around Sandbach and Patryk’s path, which is suitable for everyone. On the Sunday, the final day of the run, there will be a celebration at Sandbach Rugby Club. This will include a Padel social, bouncy castle, hog roast, live music and the bar will be open. It will be the perfect way to support the runners and celebrate a special day.
The Run 4 Patryk event will bring the whole community together and more than thirty runners are itching to get started. There’s still time to support them and this meaningful cause, which ensures that Patryk’s legacy lives on.
