Sandbach make their first ever visit to Arnold, Nottingham to play Paviors, who have acquitted themselves well in their first season in the Midlands Premier League. By all accounts the Burntstump Hill ground can be a little on the heavy side and with the weather forecast set for strong winds and heavy rains, conditions may not be ideal for running rugby. What we do know from the game earlier in the season at Bradwall Road, is that Paviors are a big outfit, both up front and in the backs and Sandbach will need to front up physically, to keep them at bay. Sandbach won the home encounter 22 v 0 in not the best of conditions, which dictated the scrappy nature of the game and Sandbach will be hoping that conditions relent sufficiently, to be able to play a bit of their traditional all-round game.
Sandbach have a few changes due to work and holiday commitments, but can call on Cheshire player Josh Longson, who is on a half term break from his normal teaching duties at Stonyhurst College. All supporters will be welcome on the bus, which leaves 10.40 am prompt.
