Sandbach RUFC hosts England Rugby’s World Cup Winning Captain and Fly Half Katy Daley McLean for a girls kicking clinic for U13-U18 players from across the region.

Still with England Rugby but now with Sale Sharks as a player coach, Katy firmly believes in developing the next generation of young players. To do this she has teamed up with Sharks Community Trust to provide an evening of kicking skills. On the evening, Katy will lead sessions alongside Sharks Community Trusts Coaches who play for Sale Sharks Women and also coach in the Academy path way.

On top of these kicking clinics lead by Katy, Sharks Community Trust are running a development day on the 28th of October at Sale Sharks Carrington Training Centre, the home of Sale Sharks Women. This day will focus on the defensive aspects of the game, through a player centred, game based approach, delivered in line with Sale Sharks Academy’s Sharks DNA.
