We are sorry to report the news that Pete Lomas passed away recently (12th October) and we send our sincere condolences to all his family and friends. Pete was a scrum half for the then Old Sandbachians in the late 60’s / early 70’s and a very keen player and volunteer at Elworth Cricket Club, where he is fondly remembered. Though not being in the greatest of health recently, he could still be seen down at Bradwall Road in his wheelchair, supporting the boys.

The funeral is to be held on Monday 30th October 11.15 am, at St Peter's Church, Elworth and celebration afterwards at Elworth CC.
