Not really a true reflection of the game as a very big Kendal side dominated the first 30 minutes. In this opening period the Sandbach defence was outstanding, then the extra pace and fitness of Sandbach enabled them to pull away in the second half before Kendal came back with 2 late scores their efforts deserved.

Good work out for both sides with game time for all the squad including a good number of new faces and some of last year’s colts. Sandbach coaches will have taken many positives from the game and we now welcome Wilmslow next Saturday in the Cheshire Vase ko 3pm.
